Scream on the Green kicks off with Cars & Coffee, a creepy salute to the Novato Automotive legacy. Join in for no entry fee with your car and participate in one of the fastest-growing events in the North Bay, the Novato Chamber's Scream on the Green.

Scream on the Green is an annual Halloween Festival put on by the Novato Chamber of Commerce. It occurs on the Friday night and Saturday before Halloween in Downtown Novato. City Hall is converted into a Haunted House, there are costume contests, live musical performances, dance recitals and a safe-trick-o-treat with the downtown merchants on Grant Avenue. Oh and by the way, it is FREE to attend the event. Businesses and Nonprofits line Sherman Avenue for a ‘carnival’ complete with games, community groups and fun for the entire family.
