Enjoy Artisan Cheese with Fresh Starts Chef Events

Save the date for an evening at Fresh Starts Chef Events featuring Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese with Chef Jennifer Luttrell, who will share ideas for recipes and pairings with favorite local cheeses.

The Point Reyes Farmstead crew operates from a West Marin ranch founded in 1959, where the Giacomini Dairy is run by second-generation family farmers. Learn about about choosing, storing and serving distinctive cheese while you enjoy dishes featuring wares from this iconic West Marin producer. The menu:

• Winter Greens Salad with Citrus Vinaigrette, Satsuma Mandarins, Fennel, Hazelnuts & Bay Blue
• Individual Lasagnas with Wild Mushrooms, Pesto Bechamel & Point Reyes Toma
• Lemon Mousse with Pecan Shortbread

Our event gets a jump on the California Artisan Cheese Festival, which includes a tour to Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese on March 24. The cheeses featured in our menu have won multiple awards, including the Best Cheese of the Year honors for Bay Blue at the 2016 California State Fair.
